i have to say Australias one good country i was there 5 months and the memories i have i will treasure for ever just soo much beauty!!! almost too much to take in at times.....the blue mountains..have you been there i got to visit places not many people could go because of my volunteer work...one incident was when we were working up int he blue mountains we got given a BBQ by some bankers who owned a house up in the mountains...they were obviously millionares and we were given a posh BBQ qatching over the mountains from quite a hight looking into the valley with the sun setting i got some great photos of it...and it was probably my favourate memory just seeing all the nature just silence and sunset!! ahh now that was heaven for me....the food was the best and the wine was as well...

i had soo many great BBqs though in soo many places with total strangers it was great..i dont get anything like that now im in boring old England!!!

yes i have been to the Blue Mountains, many years ago, it is a very beautiful spot. And here in Australia it is the land of the BBQ...the climate suits that in most places...poor old England...bit cold and wet too have many BBQ's eh?
:icondexter121uk:
lol yea it is...im pretty lucky with my family though as even if the weather is moderate we have a BBQ.....any excuse for a good old Barbie!!!

i tried pumpkin for the first time....plus it was on the BBQ in australia i hated it but now at least i know i dont like it and can say i have tried it!!....are you the type of australian that is knowledgable on the bush?? i mean could you go out for days on end and just servive with a big knife??

i met loads of people like i am deescribing above mainly just the national park rangers that i was working with...they were soo inteligent it seemed there was nothing they didnt know!!! its probably spending soo much time with nature and in the fresh our i think it does you wonders!!!
